The Best Sources for Monogrammed Pens

Writing pens make wonderful gifts, regardless of whether they are intended for a loved one or as a promotional item. However, to truly make a pen a unique gift, you should seriously consider having it personalized in some fashion. You can do this by having pens created with your company image, logo, or slogan. On the other hand if you truly want to make a good impression you should think about giving one of the many monogrammed pens that are available on the market today.

Monogrammed pens are not just for writing anymore. With their unique designs that swirl around a person’s initials, monogrammed pens almost instantly become a status symbol. These pens can then be given as a gift to either your company’s attorney, or to sway a potential new client to your company’s favor. Consequently, monogrammed pens also make wonderful graduation gifts for the student in your family.

Just as there are many types of pens, such as fountain pens, ball point pens and calligraphy pens, so too are there just as many types of monogrammed pens. Some simply have a person’s initials artfully engraved in them, while others have a person’s initials flowing throughout the entire pen. Some monogrammed pens are quite simple designs, and even others are extravagant renditions of a person’s name.

Trying to find the best sources of monogrammed pens can at first seem like a daunting task. But this is not entirely so. There are quite a few companies available that can personalize any pen for you. The cost of which, however, can vary depending on the extensiveness of the monogram itself. For monogrammed pens that are engraved in silver, for example, you are a looking at a cost of about $30 to $60 per pen. On the other hand monogrammed pens that have simple lettering can be purchased at a price between $2 and $20 each. Keep in mind though, that the more monogrammed pens that you order, the cheaper your overall cost will be.

By doing an easy search online, you will be able to find quite a few companies that offer monogrammed pens. If you desire pens to give away as a promotional item, then it would be in your best interest to contact a company that offers wholesale pricing on monogrammed pens. Even though you will most likely have to order a minimum of 250 to 500 pens, your cost per pen can decrease to as much as $1 each.

If you are feeling very creative you can even design your own monogrammed pens. Some online companies allow you to utilize their design templates, provided that you actually purchase your monogrammed pens from them.  You can even upload your own design by creating your monogram using a computer design program.  It is customary that a monogram consists of only three letters: the first letter is the first initial of the person’s first name; the second letter is the initial of their last name; and the third letter is the initial of their middle name.
